The Board of Christian Education offers grants for college students who, prior to going to college, were active church members. Students applying for the grant must fill out an application and submit it to the Chairperson of the Board of Christian Education by May 1st of each year.
New guidelines have been set due to limited funds. The Board of Christian Education recognizes the value of education and wishes to support those seeking to further their education at the college/technical school level. Grants will be given to full time students on the active church membership list. Approved amounts will be awarded yearly, one half each semester to full time students. Applications will be reviewed by the BOCE and will be kept confidential.
Deadline for letter of application is May 1st. Awards will be announced on Church School Day in the amount of $250 per semester.

The Board of Christian Education sees the experience of Christian camping as part of its Christian Education programming. Thus, we want to encourage and support as many as possible who want to attend our Baptist camps.
We will pay the camp deposit for the camp provided it meets the following criteria: A. Requested deposit is for an American Baptist Church Camp B. Given the limited resources available it will be up to the discretion of the BOCE to consider other camp requests.
The Board of Christian Education is willing to consider providing additional financial funding based on availability. Any financial information provided by the applicant will be treated as confidential.
